Hi, I purchased 2 online tickets and the 2 e-tickets generated both have my name on it. Can someone please advise if this is a cause for concern? It said on the e-ticket that "the ticket is only valid for a single entrance for the person indicated on the ticket". I am now worried that my friend will not be allowed entrance since she is not the person indicated on the ticket.

If you have a ticket from http://www.eiffel-tower.com can you really skip the queues? The queues are for buying tickets or to get on the lift? It says that there is a special line? How can you identity this line?

I am also here in France. It is july and the website is up and working.

Here in France you can expect things to work, or not with little or no explanation... Been coming here for the last 6 years and some thing's never change. Don't try to fight it or get stressed out..

I had the same problem trying to get tickets for April a month and a half ago. I hope there'll be no issues the day of getting tickets because going up the tower was my 8 year old's bay wish and I'm traveling pretty far to make it happen

Maybe it is due to the fact that only one elevator is operative and the 'pass the standing in line' tickets cannot be offered during this period.

Why can't I purchase tickets online until June 2012!!! I'm going to be in Paris for a week between 11th - 18th April and the site won't allow me to purchase tickets with no explanation.. I've also emailed them over a week ago with no response! Is anyone else experiencing this?
